Complete all required booking and entry formalities before visiting Jim Corbett National Park for Elephant Safari.

Information Required For Booking

  • Full name, age, and gender of each visitor exactly as mentioned on the government ID proof.
  • Preferred travel date and safari slot (Morning / Afternoon).
  • Valid government ID such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving Licence.
  • Carry the same ID proof used during the booking process.
  • Elephant Safari bookings are subject to availability.
  • Maximum 4 visitors are allowed on one elephant.
  • Safari duration is approximately 2 hours.
  • Advance booking is not guaranteed for Elephant Safari.
  • Elephant rides are generally allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Visitors may require Jeep Safari access to reach designated Elephant Safari areas.

Terms & Conditions

  • Elephant Safari is available only in selected tourism zones.
  • Safari timings may change according to the season and Forest Department guidelines.
  • Winter Safari Timings:
    Morning: 06:00 AM – 08:00 AM & 08:00 AM – 10:00 AM
    Evening: 01:30 PM – 03:30 PM & 03:30 PM – 05:30 PM
  • Summer Safari Timings:
    Morning: 05:00 AM – 07:00 AM & 07:00 AM – 09:00 AM
    Evening: 03:00 PM – 05:00 PM & 05:00 PM – 07:00 PM
  • Safari permits are issued only after Forest Department approval.
  • Visitors should report at the entry gate before the scheduled safari time.
  • Private vehicles are not allowed inside the forest tourism zones.
  • Elephant Safari operations depend on weather conditions and forest regulations.
  • All visitors must strictly follow Forest Department rules and safety instructions during the safari.
